Science of Getting Rich. (Chapter 2)

Some notes and thoughts on chapter 2 in the little green book "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles (Year 1910). There is a Science of Getting Rich. This book is the background for the film "The Secret". It teaches one of the laws of the universe: the law of attraction.

In this chapter the author asks some trivial questions and serves us his interesting answers.

The thoughts that come into my mind – What does he mean with Getting Rich? Who is rich? Is it the amount of money you have that makes you rich? I am sure there are lots of poor people with lots of money. They worry so much for the money they have so they forget to live a good rich life. You can also live a good rich life without lots of money but it is not the best life possible. Lots of people say they are rich in some senses but have no money. They maybe get money always when they are in need??

In my opinion money is a media where you transform things to other things. You also can say it is a power that makes lots of things manifest. Without this power you have difficulties getting what you want. Having money is the first step in getting rich. You need money to accomplish things. To be rich is to easily accomplish things you and people around you need. You can say – You are rich when all your wants and needs automatically come your way - When you are attracting money and abundance into your life.

If you can’t use your money you are poor. All together I mean that having money doesn’t necessary mean you are rich. But if you have money you have the first thing that you need to get real rich. With working money you can get rich.

Lots of people win on lottery but after some years they are as poor as they always have been. They were not meant to be rich or in other words - they did not do things in a certain way.

My conclusions are that you are on way getting rich, when you have lots of money that is your own earned money. Won money is easily gone money, unless you don’t already do things in a certain way. Money must work to get increased value. The money in your pocket will be spent.

Does this mean you can’t get rich if you have no money? The answer is no. Nobody can stop you from getting rich if you do things in a certain way.

The question’s the author asks in this chapter is:
Does place and education mean any big difference? Is it the education that makes you rich? Man or woman, White or Black make no difference. Does the place you live make a difference? The only thing that matters is if you do things in a certain way.

Of course it is easier to get successful if you know what you are talking about. You also have better success if you try to fish where there is fish. The author tries to tell us there are other rules or laws that govern our success. Many people with same education and work get different result. Some get rich other’s don’t.

All people can get rich if they do things in a certain way.

What does he mean? What is the certain way?
